MetroAir Virtual Airlines is launching a pilot training initiative for the Airbus A380 aircraft. The program consists of eight training flights scheduled to run from November 3–25, 2024, departing from Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX).

The training tour follows this route sequence:

  • Leg 1: KLAX to Dallas/Fort Worth (KDFW)
  • Leg 2: KDFW to Miami (KMIA)
  • Leg 3: KMIA to Boston (KBOS)
  • Leg 4: KBOS to Denver (KDEN)
  • Leg 5: KDEN to New York (KJFK)
  • Leg 6: KJFK to Houston (KIAH)
  • Leg 7: KIAH to Toronto (CYYZ)
  • Leg 8: CYYZ back to KLAX

These flights are designed to equip pilots with the skills needed for successful long-distance operations. The initiative prepares the airline's pilot corps for upcoming extended-range service using the A380 aircraft.
