As many of you may have noticed, MetroAir has slowly been shifting support away from AOL email addresses as primary contact points for our pilots and management. Effective today, MetroAir will be ceasing support for AOL email addresses due to the overly-aggressive and easily-abused AOL �spam filtering� system put in place a little over a year ago. America Online has refused to provide a decent URL or IP-validation service to ISP�s being blocked when users send email to AOL customers. We�ve been working with AOL for over a year now, and despite temporarily fixed, AOL has taken the stance of guilty until proven innocent, thus blocking emails sent to AOL email address holders. This is not fair to you�the pilots and management of MetroAir�as a fair amount of management-to-pilot correspondence is transmitted via email.
