Kansas City, October 8, 2023 -- MetroAir has announced a fleet expansion and modernization plan designed to enhance passenger comfort and operational efficiency.

    <p>The airline will replace its ERJ-145 aircraft with two new aircraft types: the CRJ-700 and the Embraer 175. The CRJ-700 features superior performance and a spacious cabin with modern design and enhanced amenities, while the Embraer 175 offers efficiency and range to expand the route network.</p>

    <p>Sean Mullineaux, MetroAir's spokesperson, stated the transition represents "a significant step forward" enabling the airline to better meet passenger needs and maintain service quality.</p>

    <p>The phased transition was scheduled to begin in the last quarter of 2023 and complete by early 2024. MetroAir committed to minimizing flight schedule disruptions during the transition period.</p>
