DETROIT, January 10th, 2007: Today marked a special occasion for MetroAir when the airline announced the establishment of a new executive position within the airline. The new position Vice President of Operations was created as a means to merge the responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager and executive Webmaster positions into one.

Through thick and thin, our executive Webmaster Mike Charves has decided to take some much needed time off from his MetroAir responsibilities. Words enough cannot express our gratitude for Mike's hard work said CEO Mark McCoy. Mike's put in just about as much work as possible despite personal time constraints followed COO Tom Collins. Filling Mike's shoes in that capacity is just about as close to impossible as we could get.

Rising star Matthew Calsada joined MetroAir with webmaster experience, and has flown through the ranks since his hiring in the fall of 2006. To have someone with Mr. Calsada's experience within our ranks and poised for the responsibility is pure good fortune McCoy beamed. As a result, we are proud to announce that Matthew Calsada has been named MetroAir's first executive Vice President of Operations, merging the roles of HR manager and Webmaster into one. "I'm up for the challenge of taking on Mr. Charves' responsibilities, and I know that I have incredibly large shoes to fill" VPO Matthew Calsada said. "I am grateful for the opportunity and I will do my best to continue to help MetroAir lead the market in innovation and teamwork."
