Privacy Policy
This policy explains what MetroAir Virtual collects and displays about its pilots. MetroAir Virtual runs on the SOAR platform; the SOAR platform Privacy Policy at vasoar.app/privacy describes how the underlying platform (including the Discord bot) processes data on our behalf and is incorporated here by reference.
01What we collect
When you apply to fly with MetroAir Virtual, we collect your name and a valid email address, and we maintain your pilot profile, flights, and progression on the SOAR platform. See the platform Privacy Policy at vasoar.app/privacy for the full list, including flight/ACARS data, network/anti-fraud data, and Discord data.
02Information shown publicly
As a virtual airline, MetroAir Virtual displays some member information publicly. This may include your name, pilot code, rank, hub, and flight statistics on public rosters, leaderboards, and live activity. Applying for membership includes agreeing to this display.
03Discord community
MetroAir Virtual operates a Discord server and uses the SOAR Discord bot for account linking, roles, presence, and notifications. How the bot handles your Discord data is described in the platform Privacy Policy at vasoar.app/privacy, including the hidePresence opt-out.
04Legal process
MetroAir Virtual does not sell or share member information outside the airline, except that, in accordance with United States law, we may provide information to law enforcement or in response to lawful legal process.
05Children
Because member information is displayed publicly and our Discord community requires it, MetroAir Virtual does not permit members under the age of 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
